Greetings from the PARRY SOUND SECTOR FLEET IN ONTARIO CANADA. I just got the new COSMOS DRM BL and I was wondering what I would need to consider compilation of making user created missions for Artemis COSMOS. I am aware that the new COSMOS is now running off of a PYTHON CODE ARCHITECTURE? Would anyone be able to direct me to what apps or programs I will need to download and the commands ARTEMIS COSMOS uses as far as interpretation for python's scripting please?

My fleet and I have been playing ARTEMIS since v 2.1.1 and Mark Bells TNG MOD. It's been an incredible adventure during our local Friday Night Bridge nights that I hosted. I have been working on a GMAI Sandbox Script since 2016 and it's been challenging to compile a concept regarding this automated adventure script. Many believed this couldn't be done, but I have worked on this for many years making notes and planning the Alpha 0.1 script for my preliminary tests of core algorithmic concepts.

I also would like to attempt to transpose this project to eventually Artemis Cosmos, and I and my crew are looking forward to the eventual TNG MOD for ARTEMIS COSMOS that I hope soon is in development. We're very excited to see how its gonna look when it is set up and ready to go.

I hope that my ALPHA SCRIPT TEST FOR SBS 2.8.0 will be a success. I have been working on many modular systems that will be hopefully integrating nicely together. Currently my progress is delayed on this as I may be facing a very real crisis of desperation and perhaps being homeless over the course of the next 3 months.

This certainly isn't something I had wanted to be worrying about as the Christmas season being potentially without a home, but a serious change of unexpected and extenuating circumstances, suddenly occurred on November 10th. Currently fighting this with some legal counsel, hoping for the best.

Many thanks

Hi again everyone I was just wondering, how I can play all the bridge stations on one laptop using HDMI multiscreen usually I would use the laptop screen to basically make it so that I could switch from station to station.

I was not able to do this on COSMOS when I originally tested it out... Does anyone know the method to do this please..? Please advise.

Many thanks.

You have to work around Steam in order to play all of the bridge stations on one laptop. The easiest way to do this is to create a shortcut to the EXE file in your "steamapps" directory. You can then click on the shortcut to open multiple windows. Once you have started one instance, you can also right click on the icon in the task bar and click on the app again.

The best way to run multiple apps on one system is to buy a bridge license from the official site. Follow the link above. :)

I will be putting together a page on scripting if I can, but it will probably be a while before I get around to it. I was never able to complete a guide on scriping in Artemis 2.0. It was just too complicated. I ecpect there will be lots of posts on writing Artemis Cosmos scriprs with Python on the Artemis forums. Post there and see if anyone has any advice. I've only barely gotten into it myself.
