Artemis Mod Loader

Developed by Russ Judge, Artemis Mod Loader is a tool to simplify the process of applying, managing, and developing player-created modifications to Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator.  Russ Judge is not affiliated with Thom Robertson, the creator of Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator.

The benefits of this tool for all players of Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator are as follows:

  • Mod management is simplified down to just a few button-clicks.
  • Administrative privilege is not required when applying a mod.  Because Artemis is normally installed in the Programs folder, applying a mod normally requires administrative privilege to overwrite Artemis files.  Artemis Mod Loader gets around this by working with a copy of the Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator installation, instead of altering the actual installation.  Thus, not only is administrative privilege not required, but your Artemis installation remains untouched.
  • Adding missions are as simple as drag-and-dropping the mission files into the application.
  • Creating your own mod is simplified with full editors for the critical files (vesselData.xml and artemis.ini).

The concept behind Artemis Mod Loader is to simplify the process for applying and creating user-generated content, and by such, increasing promotion of the game, Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator.
