Version 1.6 of Artemis brought about a number of major changes for Artemis. Version 1.60 changed the Science console and added ECM torpedoes and Jump Drive. Version 1.61 introduced the Captain's Map and Game Master consoles, and limited the speed in nebulas to Warp 1. Version 1.65 completely redesigned the Argonians (renamed Arvonians) and Torgoth, giving them carriers and capital ships respectively. Versions 1.66 and 1.661, the last in this series, were mainly bugfixes, although they added DMX support.

There are not many images available for this version since most consoles carried over from 1.5.
